He is also the author of the best-selling memoir: God, If You’re Not Up There, I’m F*cked. His account is a telling tale of his difficult upbringing and his challenges with mental health and substance use issues, areas that are near and dear to the mission of Homes with Hope. Homes with Hope is a Westport-based grassroots response to the tragedy of homelessness. With a caring, professional staff and the help of more than 400 volunteers, they assist people who have lost their ability to lead normal lives. Each night, over 80 people find shelter or housing in one of Homes with Hope’s facilities.
