A 22 year old Missouri man has pleaded guilty in federal court for his role in a 2024 Danbury kidnapping tied to a $245 million Bitcoin theft. Prosecutors say Saif Faiq helped plan the carjacking and abduction of a victim’s parents in an effort to steal cryptocurrency. He faces up to 20 years in prison and is scheduled for sentencing in August.
