98Q's Bags & Bears
with CT Department of Children & Families
It's all to brighten the holidays for foster kids in our area.
Approximately 4,000 children are in state care in Connecticut.
Since we couldn't get together for this year's "Bags & Bears" event, we had a safe, contactless dropoff of toys, gift, and baby items at the Dept. of Children & Families office in Danbury last week.
HOWEVER, if you or your company would still like to contribute, please email Rich Minor at Rich@98Q.com. Many donated gifts will be used for the holidays, while others are crucial items necessary for when a child is first placed with a foster family. Those will be used well into the new year.
Or you can mail gifts anytime:

Items really needed: Baby clothes, Sleepsacks, bottles, blankets, diapers, toiletries (for all ages).
Also new, unwrapped toys, coloring books, stuffed animals, and backpacks. (Only brand new items accepted.)
And gift cards make the perfect gift for teens and the older kids.
Thank you so much, from your friends at 98Q, and Connecticut Dept. of Children & Families.
