We will collect your donations for our local kids in foster care.  New, unwrapped toys, backpacks, stuffed animals, books & more.  Our top item really needed this year: GIFT CARDS.  Any store, any amount.  

Gift cards are great for teens and older kids in foster care.  The cards are used as holiday gifts, but also throughout the upcoming year when a child is placed with a foster family immediately.  A gift card gives that young boy or girl the opportunity to go out and get toys or clothes on their own, with the hopes of putting a smile on their face.  It can also help them feel more settled during a difficult time of change.

It's the 13th year of 98Q's Bags & Bears, a Connecticut holiday tradition, with the Connecticut Dept. of Children & Families.  We hope you'll come and be a part of this important day.  And don't sneak away too soon...we want to personally thank each and every one of you who comes by and participates.
