We will collect your donations for our local kids in foster care. 

New, unwrapped toys, backpacks, stuffed animals, books & more.  All items brand new.

MOST-NEEDED ITEMS this year:

GIFT CARDS   and   BABY ESSENTAILS

GIFT CARDS  can be to any store, any amount.  These are great for teens and older kids in foster care.  The cards are used as holiday gifts, but also throughout the upcoming year when a child is placed with a foster family immediately.  A gift card gives that young boy or girl the opportunity to go out and get toys or clothes on their own.  It can also help them feel more settled during a difficult time of change.

BABY ESSENTIALS  like diapers, binkies, bottles, baby wipes, etc. are used well into 2025 and always in high demand. 

This is the 14th year of 98Q's Bags & Bears, a Connecticut holiday tradition, with the Connecticut Dept. of Children & Families.  We hope you'll come and be a part of this important day.
