Flags at Connecticut state government buildings are flying at half-staff following the death of former Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman. Wyman served as lieutenant governor from 2011 to 2019 and previously became the first woman elected state comptroller, holding that office for 16 years. She also served in the state House and on the Tolland Board of Education. Flags will remain lowered until sunset on the day of her interment.
