Newtown’s Legislative Council is moving toward a moratorium on Flock license plate cameras amid privacy and surveillance concerns. Council members voted unanimously to prepare a resolution and also referred the issue to its ordinance committee. The council could also ask the Board of Selectmen to cancel the town’s Flock contract.
