Connecticut regulators have filed a complaint with federal energy officials seeking to eliminate what they call an unjustified profit bonus collected by Eversource and United Illuminating. State officials say ending the transmission rate incentive could save Connecticut ratepayers about $4.5 million annually on electric bills if approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
