The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking to revoke the U.S. citizenship of a New Milford man, 43 year old Tahir Lekaj, who has been convicted of sexually assaulting a child, alleging he concealed the crime during the naturalization process. A second Connecticut man also faces denaturalization after a securities fraud conviction, with federal officials alleging he lied during his citizenship application.
