Eversource says electric reliability in Connecticut has improved by 15 percent since 2017, with customers now averaging one outage about every 20 months. The company reports nearly half of outages in 2025 were restored within five minutes, thanks to upgrades like automated systems and stronger infrastructure. More than 1 POINT 5 million outages were avoided last year through those improvements.
