Listen LiveFirstLight will lower water levels at three Connecticut lakes for annual maintenance. The Lake Zoar drawdown begins October 17, followed by Lake Lillinonah on October 26. A deep drawdown of Candlewood Lake, including Squantz Pond, begins November 1. Waterfront property owners should remove docks, boat lifts and other structures.
