Conservationists are seeking permission to build a 40-foot timber bridge over Dingle Brook, connecting the 45-acre Ledges sanctuary with Brookfield’s 116-acre Burr Farm preserve. The bridge would be built from two birch trees harvested near the site. The town’s wetlands commission could vote on the permit August 10.
