A 33 year old Connecticut pastor, Robert Hoggard of Middletown, faces multiple forgery and perjury charges after investigators alleged he falsified petition signatures during his 2024 Democratic primary campaign for state representative. Prosecutors say several voters reported signatures on nominating petitions were not theirs. The case was referred for criminal investigation by state election officials.
