Governor Ned Lamont and the governors of the other five New England states are urging the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to reject a proposal that would raise allowed profits for transmission utilities. The bipartisan group warned the increase could hurt economic competitiveness and place an added burden on ratepayers.
