Supporters of a proposed $50 billion bridge-and-tunnel link between Connecticut and Long Island are renewing efforts for a feasibility study. The project would connect Bridgeport to Long Island and supporters say it could reduce traffic congestion and boost economic growth. Lawmakers are expected to revisit the idea during the 2027 legislative session.
