Connecticut has secured more than seven million dollars in first-year federal funding to improve the Air Line State Park Trail. The money will support smoother surfaces, better drainage, improved signs and more accessible trail entrances in seven rural communities. The state expects the project could receive up to 40 million dollars over five years.
