Police now say a driver was taken to the hospital after a single-car crash Sunday night on Whisconier Road in Brookfield. Emergency crews temporarily closed the roadway between Whisconier Road and Fawn Ridge Drive while firefighters and EMS responded to the scene. Brookfield Police say the road reopened Monday morning, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
