Connecticut officials say a hacker accessed personal information tied to about 22-thousand-500 Hartford HealthCare patients through the state HUSKY provider portal earlier this year. The Department of Social Services says the breach involved compromised employee credentials and included patient names, Medicaid claim information and billing records, but did not include Social Security numbers or financial account information. Affected patients are now being notified and offered credit monitoring services.
