A meteor traveling about 75,000 miles per hour triggered a sonic boom heard across parts of New England Saturday afternoon. NASA says the fireball exploded high above Massachusetts, releasing energy equal to roughly 300 tons of TNT. Officials say the object was a natural meteor and not space debris.
